Fluffy soft rolls with strawberry filling. Any fruits or berries can be used for the filling.
Ingredients
milk 250 g
butter 50 g
sugar 140 g
dry yeast 10 g
salt 1/2 tsp.
wheat flour 450 g (+/- 30 g)
vanilla 1 tsp
Filling
strawberries 250 g
sugar 3 tbsp
corn starch 1 tbsp
Method of preparation
1. Mix warm milk with dry yeast and sugar. Cover it and allow for 20 minutes.
2. After 20 minutes add salt, vanilla, melted butter and wheat flour. Knead a soft dough, cover and allow in a warm place for an hour.
3. Cut the strawberries into pieces, add sugar, corn starch and mix.
4. After 1 hour, divide the dough into parts of 50-70 g each. Roll out each part into a circle, put 2 tsp of filling and wrap the balls.
5. Preheat the oven to 200 °C/392 °F.
6. Grease the baking sheet with oil. Place the balls on a baking sheet, seam side up. Allow for 15-20 minutes.
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool. Can be decorated with powdered sugar on top.
