Fragrant melon jam.
It can be served with toast or used as a pie filling.
Ingredients
melon 500 g
sugar 400 g
water 300 ml
1 lemon
Method of preparation
1. Peel the melon and cut it into pieces.
2. Pour sugar into a pan, add water and add the zest of 1 lemon. Cook for 10-15 minutes.
3. Add chopped melon. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove from the stove and let it cool.
4. When the melon in the syrup is cold, put it on the stove again, add the juice of 1 lemon and cook for 15-20 minutes.
5. Put the jam in dry containers. Keep in the refrigerator.
