Lecho

Lecho is a traditional Hungarian dish, prepared of bell peppers, tomatoes and onion. Small pieces of sausage make a great addition to this recipe.

Ingredients
 1 medium onion
 3 bell peppers
 3 medium tomatoes
 tomato sauce 1/2 tsp
 salt, pepper optional 
 a pinch of sugar
 garlic 1 clove
 vegetable oil 1 tbsp
 sausages 200 g

 Method of preparation
 
1. Pour oil into the pan and add finely chopped onion. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

2. Add the chopped bell pepper to the onion, mix and cook for 5 minutes.

3. Cut the tomatoes and add them to the pan. Add a pinch of sugar, mix, cover and cook for 15 minutes on low heat.

4. Cut the sausages and add to the pan. Add salt, pepper, tomato sauce, mix well and cook for 10-15 minutes.
5. Add grated garlic 5 minutes before readiness.

Serve lecho with a slice of fresh bread.
