Accordion rolls with chocolate orange tastes
Fragrant rolls, prepared from simple ingredients, folded and baked with an accordion, you will definitely like them! Tender and airy crumb, crispy crust, two tastes in one!
Ingredients
Dough:
milk 100 ml
sugar 30 g
wheat flour 350 g (300 g for dough, 50 g for sprinkling)
1 egg
melted butter 40 g
pinch of salt
yeast 3/4 tsp.
Filling
zest of 1 orange
cocoa powder optional
sugar optional
melted butter 40 g
Method of preparation
1. Add yeast and sugar to warm milk and mix.
2. Add egg, salt, melted butter and mix well.
3. Add wheat flour part by part and knead a soft dough. Knead for 7-10 minutes.
4. Cover the dough and allow for 30 minutes in a warm place.
5. Grease the baking mold with butter.
6. Divide the dough into 3 or 4 pieces. Roll out each part into 3-4 mm. Grease pieces of the dough with melted butter, sprinkle with cocoa, sugar and orange zest.
Cut the pieces into 2 or 4 strips. Fold it together with the filling inside and cut into squares.
7. Put the squares in a baking mold vertically, but not too close to each other. Cover and allow for 1 hour.
8. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.
Pour the remaining melted butter on the dough and sprinkle with sugar. Put in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes.
