So simple and so delicious cake from available ingredients.
Oranges can be replaced with any fruit.
Ingredients
Dough
4 eggs
powdered sugar 120 g
wheat flour 120 g
baking powder 1 tsp
Cake cream
heavy cream 250 ml
powdered sugar 70 g
Syrup
sugar 100 g
water 50 g
orange 1
Method of preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.
2. Beat eggs and sugar into foam. Add flour gradually. Carefully knead the dough from the bottom up.
3. Bake two cakes from this amount of dough. Forms for baking 18 cm. Grease the forms with butter. Divide the dough into two parts and pour into identical forms. Or bake one at a time.
Allow to cool.
4. Cake cream
Whip cream and powdered sugar. Allow in the refrigerator.
5. Syrup
Mix sugar and water. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
Peel the orange and cut it into pieces. Pour the hot syrup over the orange and let it cool.
6. Put the first cake on a plate, spread it with cake cream and lay out half of the oranges.
Put the second cake on top, spread it with cake cream and put another one half oranges.
7. Allow the cake for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
