Lobio

Lobio is a popular dish made with beans. This is a Georgian dish, "lobio" means "beans". There is a few kinds of this dish, and we will cook a very simple and easy lobio recipe.

 Ingredients
 beans 300 g
 2 onions of medium size
 garlic 4 cloves
 cilantro optional 
 parsley optional 
 pepper 1/2 tsp
 cumin 1 tsp
 salt optional 
 vegetable oil 1 tbsp

 Directions 
 Soak the beans in cold water for 12 hours.
 Wash the beans, pour cold water (there should be a lot of water), salt the beans, chop 1 onion and add to the beans. Cook over medium heat, after boiling make the fire to a minimum. Cook for 2 hours.  
Beans at the end of cooking should be soft, easy to knead with your fingers and water should be at half of beans. 
 At the end of cooking mash the half of beans. The result should not be mashed potatoes. Beans should be a thick sauce and whole beans.
 Chop the garlic and mix with pepper and cumin. Add chopped garlic with seasonings to the beans, mix.
Chop second onion. Fry it in vegetable oil until golden colour. Add to the beans and mix.
 Wash greens and cut it. Add greens to the beans. Put on to a small fire for a couple of minutes, mix it all the time.
 Serve with rise or pita bread. Enjoy your meal๐Ÿ˜‰
