A very simple ginger cake recipe. It is prepared very quickly, 5 min for kneading the dough, 30 minutes for baking. The cake with a crispy crust outside, crumbly and soft inside. An excellent cake with a cup of tea.
Ingredients
1 egg
milk 150 ml
brown sugar 80 g
wheat flour 200 g
melted butter 50 g
honey 1 tbsp
grated ginger 1 tsp
lemon zest 1 tsp
cinnamon 1/2 tsp
baking powder 1 tsp
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F.
Mix together egg, milk, butter, honey, cinnamon, ginger, sugar. Add flour and baking powder. Mix well. Add lemon zest. Mix again. Grease the mold with butter. Pour the dough into the mold, bake for 30 minutes. Decorate with powdered sugar (optional). Enjoy your meal๐
