Chebureks is a popular Slavic pastry that has roots in both Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Chebureks is fried in a pan or deep-fried. Chebureks is filled with a savory blend of ground meat, onions, and simple seasonings. The dough kneaded with boiling water is tender and soft inside and crispy outside.
Ingredients
Dough:
wheat flour 300 g
boiled water 200 ml
vegetable oil 30 g
pinch of salt
Filling
ground beef 200 g
1 onion
1 sweet pepper
salt 1 tsp
ground black pepper, paprika, dried garlic, turmeric optional
water 40 ml
vegetable oil for frying 200 ml
Method
Mix oil and water and boil it. Mix salt with flour, add boiling water. Knead the dough and allow for 10-15 min.
Add chopped onion, sweet pepper, seasonings, salt, water to the ground beef and mix well.
Cut the dough into parts. Put the ground meat, form chebureks. Fry on both sides over medium heat until done. Enjoy your meal 😉
