Golden fluffy rolls is simple, tasty, sweet rolls made from yeast dough. Using a special forming technique, these rolls take on the traditional shape of a heart, a butterfly or a bow.
Ingredients
milk 125 g
butter 40 g
sugar 70 g
dry yeast 5 g
salt 1/4 tsp.
wheat flour 225 g
vanilla to taste
Method
Add to warm milk dry yeast, 2 tbsp of sugar and 4 tbsp of wheat flour. Mix it and allow for 20 min. Then add the rest of the sugar, melted butter, salt, vanilla and the rest of the flour and knead a soft dough. Cover and allow in a warm place for 1 h. When the dough has risen cut it into 9 or 10 parts and form balls. Roll out each ball and grease with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar. Roll up, fold in half and cut with a knife in middle but not to the end. Than open rolls, it should be form like heart. Put them on a baking tray. Allow the rolls in a warm place for another 15 min. Heat up the oven to 180°C/350°F. Mix the egg yolk with milk and grease the rolls and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy your meal 😉
